Mark Williams Architects were engaged to provide full architectural services for this new house from concept design through to contract administration services including building approvals.

 

The proposal is located on a sloping site overlooking Grandview Place Park. Main design objectives were liveability for an aging family, durability and low maintenance, privacy, security, relating to the context in terms of maximising natural ventilation, maintaining optimum orientation for summer and winter solar access and bushfire resistant construction due to proximity to the park.
